Ok, to all you patrons that order water with lemons. Do you honestly think we are here to hydrate you for free? Not only that, most servers go ahead and assume that you are too cheap to order a costly beverage. Also, you can easily put a very efficient server in the weeds with your thirst problems. Now I understand that you people like our shitty water that comes from 100 miles away through 100 year old pipes. Can’t you take into consideration that we are in the middle of a drought. Oh no, I guess not, you are tourists and don’t care about my town.

I do get my revenge on cheapskate water with lemon drinkers. What I like to do is squeeze that lemon right into their straw. That way the cheap-o patron gets his/her first sip of pure lemon juice. Today I pulled this stunt. The customer said it tasted like fresh lemonade.

Fine, you can have your water with lemon, but I’m charging you for lemonade.
