We need separate checks?

Well you came in together!!!

I refuse to do separate checks. Especially during spring break. These college kids are too dumb to do the math? Hello? Your parents are paying how much in tuition fees and you can’t do the math?

Big parties that consist of family. Families are the worst. If I don’t separate their checks, there will be a BIG family feud at the table. And I don’t care either, it’s not my fault you people hate each other so much that you can’t fork out a dime for your own brother or uncle.

Couples. Two couples will come in and ask for separate checks. You know why? Because there is always some cheap ass couple in the group that won’t pay their share. It’s not my fault you can’t pick your friends correctly.

Most of you tards ask for your checks to be separated after it’s already been rang up. Why would you do this? Do you think waitresses carry a magic-wand? Do you think your lack of thought is my problem?

If this separate check thing is so important, then a sit-down restaurant isn’t for you. You should stand in a straight line at McDonald’s, order food, pay for food, get food, then sit down and eat food. Then the friend behind you should repeat this same process.

Point of the post: They didn’t teach us how to separate checks in waitress school.

I’m totally with you on this one. My favorite is when you walk up to the table to greet them and say “Can I get you started with something to drink?” and they say “we need seperate checks.” OK well I didn’t ask you if you wanted seperate checks I asked you if you wanted something to drink.

It infuriates me when a party of 8 all want separate checks. I do have a solution for this. I simply say “Oh they didn’t teach us how to do that in waitress school” Or I will say something like “Oh I only have 10 clothespins”. Oh man, they get confused and just order. Haha! Oh my favorite line is “We aren’t allowed to do separate checks on the weekends”.
