Canadians, why are you so proud to tell everybody that you’re from Canada?

If you are a good server, try and pawn the Canadians off onto the new girl. Canadians don’t tip. Well, they might tip something, but a 5% tip really isn’t anything is it? As food servers, we don’t force our service onto you like a lot of businesses do in the U.S. Servers aren’t restroom attendants in a private club. We aren’t golf ball washers either. We are waiters and waitresses, and you come into a restaurant to get waited on. Gratuities are very much appreciated in low paying service jobs. AND it’s in a servers best interest to make your visit a pleasant experience. If you don’t tip us, then we become slaves.

Thank goodness for my fellow American patrons whom most know that servers make $2.36 an hour.
