Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to be all peaches and cream. It gets on my nerves. If I could say what I’m thinking and do what I want. It would go down something like this:
The customer comes in and says to me “Good morning.”
“Screw you. Sit there. You want coffee? ”
“Well actually I would like…”
“Yeah, that’s nice. Coffee it is. SLAM! Here’s your coffee.”
“Could I get some cream and sugar?”
“NO! What do you want to eat? Come on I don’t have all day.”
“I want eggs Benedict and white toast with marmalade.”
“Got it. One egg over easy. Biscuits and gravy. Do you want meat?
“It comes with Canadian bacon.”
“Right. One slice of ham. It will be out shortly.”
“I need a refill on my coffee.”
“Sure! It’s over there.”
“Excuse me, is that food ready? It’s been forty-five minutes.
“It’s ready. I’ll be right back. Here’s your Fruit loops.”
“I asked for eggs Benedict.”
“Uh-Huh. Here’s your bill.”
“Could I at least get some milk?”
“NO! Thank you. Come again.”

Really?!?! You work at that little diner outside of Abilene TX? I would always go there when I was driving oilfield, but I thik you were nicer back then …
