Trouble On My Feet.

When I went to work today I decided it wasn’t where I wanted to be. I really wanted to be at the bar. I made the mistake of telling the cook that. In the blink of an eye he had set up a bar in the scullery. I made a margarita and chugged it. Then I had a mojito with a rum chaser. Then I really started drinking for real. By the time breakfast was over I could hardly stand. I was tripping over everything. At first I just stumbled over the chairs that weren’t pushed all the way in. Then I tripped on the wine racks. Soon I was falling over French fries on the floor. I knew I was beyond drunk and should quit drinking when I tripped into the tapestry after stubbing my toe on the floral pattern of the tile floor.

best thing to do when the room starts spinning like that? curl up on the bathroom floor, and wrap your body around the toilet. they provide stability and a convenient receptacle for when that magical mix of scrambled egg/margarita decides to do an encore!

You should just be like my friend Phil and keep kid cups of booze in the plants. Try to pace yourself. It works better. He doesn’t pace so well and is wall-eyed by the end of each and every shift, often loudly asking “I work here!!!” Yes, true story. I just go out to my car to smoke pot and keep things under control that way.

Yes, it really is the quiet ones you should keep an eye on, they know how to fool every one! ;)
