I’m a waitress at Denny’s and while the job isn’t quite that bad particular incredulous things happen. For example, my third night as a waitress i was bussing a table and I saw a used diaper wadded up and stuck into the corner of a booth. The kitchen staff drew straws to see who had the misfortune of throwing it away. I tipped the poor loser $7 for his trouble, but there was just no way I was going to touch a dirty diaper.

I’ve also seen a used diabetic insulin needle….uncapped…left on a dish that I carried back to the kitchen. I washed my hands until they bled. And oddly enough that was the first table I ever waited on.

Anyhow…some person actually changed their kid’s shit pouch on a dining table?!

I don’t know about American diplomacy but over here, that would be immediate grounds for ‘back of hand’ connecting with ’side of face’ at ‘an incredible velocity’.

Before I get to the dirty part let me tell you how the employee’s are paid.

As a waiter or waitress your pay is 2.83 an hour.

A half an is taken from your pay while you are on break. On Sunday’s the 7am-3pm , 8 am -3 PM , 9 am - 3 PM servers do not get breaks but the money is taken out of your pay. If you work over 40 hours you have to use a second time, then you are paid 2.00 cash an hour for you’re over time.

The 2 time cards is probably the way he hides it from the IRS. Come on take a look at an employees pay. Some work 5 PM- 7 am

On Sunday cash is handed out in envelopes.

huseyin underage grand son works on Sunday and holidays making toast with no pay check so huseyin don’t get caught. Only the employees tip him.

The majority of the Mexican -Spanish employees all live together in one house on Bath Road, owned by Huseyin Gunaydin or company, they get paid less for exchange for room and board. The waitresses/waiters tip 1 dollar an hour cash to the busboys, which they don’t get all of it l. The kitchen was taken out of the house so more employees have more room to sleep.

One day the restaurant was busy and an employee living at the house, came in to eat and huseyin yelled at him and set him home with no food only because they were busy.

Now some of the DIRTY stuff…

1 The waitresses/waiters make the salads with their bare hands, unless the board of health drops in then they use all the proper utensils

2. No one where’s a hair net. I cannot say how many hairs I have picked out your food before I served you.

3. Never eat the pickles, they sit in their juice and the waitress/waiters dirty fingernails just get rinsed off each time we put our hands in it.

When husien the owner eats a pickle he make the girl wash it off, what’s that telling you.

Remember your server just picked up dirty money.

4. Your toast is made with bare hands, countless times; toast is picked up off the floor and served. That’s not the best. You would not believe how many servers lick the butter off their fingers, and then serve you….

Remember there is no dental or health insurance. Its like you just kissed their rotten teeth.

5. I have seen so many employees use the lavatory and not wash their hands. Then serve you

6. I have seen the chef making soup with the flu, coughing all over, you know I never ate the soup that day, but you did.

7. I have seen the cooks blow there their nose on their apron then wipe there hands on their apron then make your food.

8. Of course I seen the cooks sneeze all over.

9. You would not believe the countless girls that were drugs addicts working there serving you

I would be scared of hepatitis.

I have even seen employees so high that had to get sent home. After they served you…

10. Never eat stuffing, next to the toaster is the unused bread in an unopened box. I have seen employees spit and throw trash in there.

11. Never use the pancake syrup; it is just filled up over and over with out ever being washed. huseyin yelled when the employees tried to send them to the dishwasher.

12. Lemons…all picked up with fingers… need I saw more?

13. Employees are not allowed to give large waters or straws, huseyin yells at the employees and calls them a liar. So please do not ask for large waters, save some slack for the waitress/waiters.

14. Remember how many hands touched that rim of your glass before you get it, or even worse that its flu season.

Remember huseyin yells at the servers for giving straws…

15. If you are there at the right time you can catch the owner huseyin sitting at the counter picking his nose. Don’t worry he never lifts a finger to help the employees oh no start to worry his underage grandson working as toast boy does the same thing.

16. At dinner hours they lock the back kitchen door no one can get out. I hope you don’t have a loved one working there a fire breaks out…

17. I have seen employees never wipe a table then serve another. Be careful what you touch.

18. I have seen the same towels used that were used the night before, to wipe off your table.

19. Employees have to wash the serving trays, they were always dirty, and your food falls on them then put back on your plate.

With this pay and working condition do you think you are really getting every bodies best.?

20. I have seen the coffee urns so dirty you thought they were filled with coffee. I brought my own tea bags in.

21. The bathrooms are not even cleaned properly. I put something on the floor a week later it is still there. Remember the drug addicts used it before you let your children go in.

22. Employees get yelled at if they talk to customers. Forget about talking to each other that will really piss the huseyin off.

23. If you call off from work for being sick or any other reason you usually get called a liar by huseyin.

24. Employees are not allowed to sit unless on your 1/2 break.

25. On Sunday’s the bacon, pork roll, scrapple, ham, Italian sausage are cooked ahead of time and sit on the steam table waiting for the employee to pick it up with their unclean licked fingers…

26. I worked one holiday which is mandatory or you are fired.huseyin made me serve eggs that sat under the heat lamp for more than twenty minutes, he just flipped them over.sorry to ever paid for them…
